The Job: Middle East Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant at HP is highly motivated, provides strong leadership skills and is willing to contribute to the success of our business.

Teamwork, flexibility, balancing multiple responsibilities and attention to detail are key skills, the applicant would utilize in this role. The role will require energy, maturity and top-notch professionalism.

As Executive Assistant you will also interact with key business leaders, partners and customers so your savvy customer service skills in handling interaction and correspondence will be put to good use.


Job specifics/responsibilities:


  • Be the lead assistant for HP dealing with other assistants across the world, at the highest level of HP
  • Deal with request from HP executive for meeting requests
  • Be responsible for maintaining the HP Share Points
  • Maintain vacation calendar for direct staff and ensure appropriate backupPlanning, Calendar management and Mailbox monitoring

Meetings and events:

  • Organize and coordinate all departmental meetings, trips and off sites (includes managing of logistics, agency management and effective budget management plan vs actual costs)
  • Maintain calendar of departmental events and meetings
  • Pro-actively propose content for presentations for meetings like All employee calls/webcasts, etc. and interact with key stakeholders to get the requested data in time and with the right quality (slides and – if needed – speaker notes)HR-Support:
  • Enter, maintain and administrate HR data for direct reports in Workday
  • Closely work with HR to keep personnel info, distribution lists and org charts up to date
  • Hiring requisition process: Collect inputs and provide summary to be reviewed with supervisor prior to submission for approval
  • Manage e-Awards/recognition budget and process

Education and professional experience required:

  • High school education or equivalent (college level education is highly preferable)
  • Minimum of 7+ years general administrative experience with comprehensive understanding of the general aspects of the job, or equivalent combination of experience and college level education
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal, email, phone and presentations)
  • Fluency in Arabic language is an advantage
