The Job: Client Onboarding Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Review, assist and guide them to internal stakeholders to complete the system and regulatory requirements
  • Handhold the request till communication is sent to requestor of completion of the request
  • Communicate and send all required documents to the requestor for DIFC and ADGM (CBNA DIFC and CGML DIFC)
  • Initiate classification letters to client as and when requested by business
  • Handle any concerns that may occur related to documentations for DIFC and ADGM
  • Initiate client list to all business entities in CGML DIFC
  • Share Monthly MIS with seniors on the status of documentation
  • Escalation for resolution of pending documentation and no response from business entities on the client list
  • Complete quarterly regulatory reporting
  • Manage projects and process improvements for CBNA UAE
  • Review of grids and to ensure strict adherence to controls by the unit
  • Ensure compliance with global and regional functional policies, procedures and programs relating to operations
  • Vendor Management
  • Conducting periodic reviews and checks to identify process gaps including advisory and ad-hoc projects
  • Ensuring MCA properly covers risks and controls for area of responsibility and quarterly self-assessments are complete and correct
  • Participate in projects as per supervisor requirements and guidelines
  • Work for continuous process improvement and provide solutions to customer requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Should be a graduate from an acceptable University preferably from Business Adm, Economics or Commerce
  • And Should have five years’ experience preferably with client service background and an understanding of banking systems
  • Should have strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; and good knowledge of the businesses and bank products.

SKILLS

  • Ability to maintain and co-ordinate working relationships across multiple geographies, cultures and time zones
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize within tight deadlines across different time zones
  • Identify problems, gather evidence through research, evaluate options and derive conclusions
  • Attention to details – summarizing, reporting accurately
