The Job: Arbitration Centre Coordinator

Operational Responsibilities
  • In consultation with the Manager, coordinate the Centre’s administrative services, including preparation of correspondence and other documents in accordance with the operational requirements of the Centre
  • Provide information on the Centre’s facilities and resources to relevant stakeholders including legal practitioners, arbitrators, government agencies and the public
  • Assume overall responsibility for the facilities and equipment necessary for the smooth and efficient operations of the Centre
  • In consultation with the Manager and the Business Development Senior Specialist, coordinate with ADGM’s Corporate Communications and Marketing Department regarding the planning and management of all events or other marketing initiatives launched by the Centre
  • Facilitate procurement, ERP and general services needs and requirements of the Centre
  • Assist the Business Development Senior Specialist in updating the Centre’s website content and identify areas of improvement and enhancement of the content and design of the website
  • When necessary, support the Business Development Senior Specialist to ensure continuous service and support in relation to business development activities
Qualifications

Essential
  • Approximately 5 years’ administrative experience in a litigation environment, including at a law firm or an in-house legal section
  • Strong organisational skills to successfully support the Manager and to effectively contribute to strategic and operational activities
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills, including confidence to liaise with lawyers, ADGM senior management and government employees
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving
  • High level observance of confidentiality, judgment, tact and discretion
  • Fluent in English
