Your day to day
At the moment we’re looking for an Accommodation Supervisor to join our team at InterContinental Hotels Group Dubai Festival City!
The main task of the Accommodation Supervisor is to assist the Colleague Services / Accommodation Manager with the daily housing operation in colleagues’ accommodation.
As directed, implement policies, tracking and processes within the accommodation framework whilst maintaining good employee relations and a friendly customer service approach. Key
-Manage all aspects of room arrival including apartment, room, key and welcome pack preparation to ensure all new joiners have a seamless welcome in their respective apartments and room allocations. Coordinates preparation of room allocation by obtaining an advance list from HR.
-Manages defect maintenance reporting in room departures and ensures that all colleagues leaving DSO are appropriately scheduled to be dropped off in the airport. By obtaining the departure list from Admin Office Support and HR-Handle basic employee welfare issues. To ensure efficiency and services are continuously provided
-Initiate sending maintenance and necessary notification to room occupants on time and keep the accommodation notice board up to date on daily basis. To ensure colleagues are well informed of company updates.
-Assist in maintaining an up to date record in all tracking systems with Administration Office Support so that updated information are completed on a regular basis.
-Organise, manage and liaise main duties of Sr. Housing Attendants and housekeeping attendants. And work closely with the operational staff to ensure smooth operations in DSO.
-Maintains and plan daily, weekly and monthly operational roster
-Conduct periodic inspections of cleanliness in DSO to ensure meeting of standard set by the company.
-Conduct a weekly Quality inspection and coordinate recording and tracking with the Accommodation Office Support
.-Responsible for the inventory of furniture and fixtures, linen and other equipment that belongs to the company to ensure proper control are in place.
-Ensure proper control of master keys in DSO to ensure colleagues safety.
-Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require
What we need from you
Ideally, you’ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we’re looking for:-Minimum of 1 year previous experience
-Excellent communication skills-Good command of English
-The ability to communicate well to ensure effective shift hand-overs
-Decision-making skills so as to establish action plans and schedules for meeting priorities
-The ability to diagnose problems and thoroughly analyse information to guide decision making
